The concept
This device is a PLC prototyping platform supported by the newB tool,
presenting a cyclic scan of 1 (ms).
Comprising eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs, it accepts
non-polarized voltages input in intervals of 5 to 35 volt and currents
of 2 to 16 mA. The inputs are optically isolated.
At the outputs, this device has eight Solid State Relays (SSRs) and each
SSR is capable of switching AC currents with a maximum of 2.5 Amp and a
maximum voltage of 60 Volt, or a maximum DC current of 5.0 Amp for also
a maximum voltage of 60 volt.
Parts;
This platform uses an OLED Display for program editing and control, a
robust metallic keyboard, a dock entry to directly insert the newB tool,
a 36-way socket for product cloning, a 40-way header for memory
expansion and the PCB terminal blocks for power in, digital inputs and
SSRs terminal outputs.
